Refers to policy and procedure manuals, maintenance manuals, technical manuals and diagrams, blueprints, specifications, safety manuals, etc.Operates a forklift, man lift, mill shop equipment, two‑way radio, telephone, etc.Uses measuring devices, carpentry tools, building materials, hardware, etc.Performs all work in compliance with park policies and procedures, project plans and specifications, schedules, and standards of quality and safety.Designs and fabricates parts rebuilds components.Lubricates rides and equipment as needed.Inspects, maintains and repairs wooden rides and equipment as assigned.Receives and reviews various records and reports including work orders, blueprints, inspection sheets, maintenance requests, safety sheets, etc.Prepares and/or processes maintenance documentation, inspection forms, project plans, etc.Inspects, maintains, repairs, and/or replaces wooden structures, including wooden roller coasters.Under regular supervision, the Framing Carpenter performs skilled carpentry primarily with repairing wooden rollercoasters, as well as work in various construction and maintenance projects throughout the park. High school diploma Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.Ability to read technical documents and drawings.Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.Build scaffolding and other construction structures.Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
